Orlando, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - Several upperclassmen from the UCF football team spent part of their Friday afternoon of Homecoming Week hanging out with students at the Orange County Transition Program, which is located on the UCF campus.

Seven members of the team spent time signing UCF football posters, taking pictures and talking about the Knights' 2007 season with a group of more than 20 students, teachers and volunteers in the classroom for the Orange County Transition Program.

Junior offensive lineman L.J. Anderson, junior cornerback Joe Burnett, senior quarterback Kyle Israel, senior wide receiver Javid Jamessenior defensive end Emeka Okammor, junior safety Sha'reff Rashad and junior wide receiver Rocky Ross all participated in the service project.

The players shared a lot of laughs and smiles with the students, who all were able to have their picture taken with the Knights.

Another topic was the Knights' upcoming game with Marshall at Bright House Networks Stadium on Saturday. It will be the first Homecoming game on the UCF campus and kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m. The game will be televised regionally on Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast.
