ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - A day after being named to the All-Conference USA Second Team, UCF men's soccer junior Ryan Roushandel was selected to the C-USA All-Academic Team the league office announced Wednesday. The Spanish major has a grade-point average of 3.75 while starting in 17 matches for the Knights this year.
Roushandel sits in second place in C-USA with eight goals, which also leads UCF. In all, he has 17 points with three game-winners. During the season, Roushandel hit the back of the net twice vs. Cincinnati and Florida International, and also scored in three-straight games from Sept. 17-23.
This is Roushandel's first-career selection to the C-USA All-Academic Team.
