ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - The UCF Athletics Association held its annual welcome-back barbeque for student-athletes on Sunday. The event was held at the old UCF Arena.
All UCF student-athletes were in attendance and the event was catered by Sonny's. Kyle Israel of the football team and Shelly Frick spoke to the crowd on behalf of the UCF Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
UCF director of athletics Keith Tribble, faculty athletics representative Cynthia Young and director of academic services for student-athletes Mark Gumble also spoke at the event.
