Orlando, Fla.(www.ucfathletics) - Following UCF's Conference USA bye week, the Golden Knights are back in action on Tuesday and Wednesday in two non-conference match-ups. On Tuesday, the Black and Gold are traveling to Jacksonville to take on the Dolphins at 5 p.m. at the JU Softball Complex. The Knights are back at home Wednesday to entertain FAU in a mid-week doubleheader at the UCF Softball Complex. Game one is set to begin at 5:30 p.m.

Remember When...
The last time the Golden Knights and the Dolphins went head-to-head was almost a year ago, when UCF snuck by Jacksonville 3-2 on April 20. The Black and Gold used a three-run third inning to seal the victory, getting two hits from Cici Alvarez during the contest. Magon Paul got the win in the circle, allowing two runs on seven hits while striking out three Dolphins.
Earlier this season, UCF took part in the FAU Tournament where it faced the Owls in its second game of 2007. FAU walked away with a 10-0 win over the Golden Knights in a five-inning affair. Kacie Feaster and Magon Paul had the Black and Gold's only two hits of the game. Ashleigh Cole made her collegiate pitching debut in the circle for UCF. Despite getting the loss, the freshman allowed only two earned runs in four innings of work.
Records are Meant to be Broken
Allison Kime became UCF's career strikeout leader on Wednesday after pitching seven hitless innings in a 1-0 victroy over Stetson. The old Golden Knights' record, held by Dottie Cupp, took the backseat when Kime totaled her 404th strikeout in the fifth inning. Kime's accomplishment is even more impressive because she is only in her second yeat at UCF.
Finishing Touch
Amber Lamb had a stellar night at the plate Wednesday against Stetson, going 2-for-3 with the game-winning RBI in the sixth inning. Lamb's two hits led all batters in the game.
No Hits for You
In Wednesday's contest with Stetson, Allison Kime pitched her first no-hitter of the season, and the third of her career, on her way to a 1-0 shutout victory over the Hatters.
Fly By Knight
Hillary Barrow shares the top spot in Conference USA for sacrifice flies with two UTEP batters. All three hitters have three sac flies on the season.
Top 10
Kacie Feaster launched herself into the top 10 in seven different offensive categories in Conference USA. She currently ranks fourth in total bases (82), stolen bases (15) and triples (2), fifth in hits (51), ninth in home runs (7) and tenth in batting average (.352) and runs scored (27).
No Hit and Run
Ashleigh Cole placed herself second in league standings as she has allowed only 58 hits and five doubles on the season. Only one other pitcher in the conference has allowed less in both catergories (Barbie Love - Houston).
This is Why We're Hot
UCF is 9-0 when it scores six or more runs in a contest and 7-1 when it hits one home run in a game. The Golden Knights are 25-8 when they outhit an opponent and 23-4 when they score first.
