UCF Lightweight Eight Takes Second at Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J. (www.UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF lightweight eight finished second of four boats in its race at Lake Carnegie Saturday.

The Knights' eight entry - which consisted of coxswain Tori Ryan, Lauren Schueler, Taylor Wiatt, Megan Mitchell, Kathleen Noble, Morgan Bell, Michelle Carter, Christina Caltabiano and Jana Read - fell behind Princeton's first varsity eight at the start before finishing strongly. Princeton's first boat crossed the finish at 7:37.0 followed by UCF at 7:56.8. Princeton's second eight was third and MIT was fourth.

The Black and Gold finished third in both of the varsity four events.
