After finishing 14th at the Conference USA Championship, Sara Hurwitch was named the league's freshman of the year. She posted a three-day aggregate of 234 (+18). Hurwitch totaled a 79 (+9) in the final round. The Virginia native also earned a spot on the all-conference second team.
