ORLANDO, Fla. (www.UCFAthletics.com) - Junior Victoria Chin (Orlando, Fla./Oak Ridge HS) posted a personal best and bettered her recent NCAA Regional qualifying mark in the 400m hurdles as the UCF women's track and field team capped off its regular season by hosting the Golden Knight Twilight on Saturday.

Chin, who first qualified for the NCAA East Regional with a time of 60.79 at the FSU Relays on March 30, won the 400m hurdles in 60.38, an effort that also ranks second all-time at UCF. Earlier in the day, she placed second in the 100m hurdles by recording a season best of 14.42.

In addition to Chin, rookie Feyisara Adaramola (Bronx, N.Y./Trevor Day School) improved upon her own freshman records in the 100m and 200m events. She took third in the 100m at 12.06 and third in the 200m at 24.53. Both performances rank her third on the school's all-time list in the respective events.

Adaramola's classmate Jenny Clausen (Jackson, N.J./Jackson Memorial HS) also shaved over a second off her previous freshman record in the 3,000m, placing third at 10:13.59. In the 3,000m steeplechase, redshirt freshman Jami Rzepecki won in 11:11.02, an effort that is second on UCF's all-time list.

The throwers led the Knights in the field events. Freshman LaKendra Thames (Winter Garden, Fla./West Orange HS) claimed second place in the shot put with a personal-best mark of 46-feet, 5.25 inches followed by junior Virginia Traynor (Miami, Fla./Westminster Christian HS) in third at 44-3.25.

Thames also finished second in the discus with a throw of 158-3 and classmate Jessica Francis (Orlando, Fla./Boone HS) was third with a personal-best toss of 149-5.

Senior Katie Fowke (Tampa, Fla./Riverview HS) earned top honors in the pole vault, while sophomore Ricki Sullivan (Santa Cruz, Calif./Harbor HS) was second in the triple jump and fourth in the long jump.
