ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - The season finale of "UCF Sports Today" with men's basketball head coach Kirk Speraw will air on Thursday at 5 p.m. on Sun Sports. During the episode, Speraw and host Marc Daniels will review the Golden Knights' successful 2006-07 campaign.
UCF went 22-9 overall this year and posted an 11-5 mark in Conference USA play to finish second in the 12-team league.
This week's episode of the program features a tour of the Convocation Center, which will serve as the Golden Knights' new home. UCF will move into the 10,000-seat venue in the fall. The show also features highlights of the team's contests against East Carolina (March 3) and versus Rice in the C-USA Championship quarterfinals.
"UCF Sports Today" will also air on UCF-TV (UCF cable channel 19) and WBCC-Digital (68-2) on Saturday at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Sunday at 8:30 p.m., Monday at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. and Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. For more information on UCF-TV, visit www.ucfchannel.ucf.edu.
