ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - UCF's Kirk Speraw, the 2006-07 Conference USA Men's Basketball Coach of the Year, will review the Golden Knights' successful season on the "Cingular Wireless Knights Roundtable" radio show this Monday. The hour-long program, which airs on the UCF ISP Sports Network and its flagship station, 740 THE TEAM in Orlando, is broadcast live from the Applebee's on University Boulevard, starting at 6 p.m.
The show will serve as the final program of the year.
Speraw's UCF team went 22-9 overall and in its second campaign in C-USA, posted an 11-5 mark to finish second in the 12-team league. Prior to the year, the Golden Knights were picked seventh in the C-USA preseason poll.
The "Cingular Wireless Knights Roundtable" is hosted by UCF's radio voice, Marc Daniels. Fans have the opportunity to ask Speraw questions about the Golden Knights in-person or via the telephone. In addition to reviewing the 2006-07 season, Speraw and Daniels will look ahead to next year. UCF is slated to move into the new Convocation Center on campus in the fall, giving the program on of the finest venues in the nation.
