ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - UCF men's basketball head coach Kirk Speraw will provide a preview of the Conference USA Championship on Monday's edition of the "Cingular Wireless Knights Roundtable" radio show. The program airs on the UCF ISP Sports Network and its flagship station, 740 THE TEAM in Orlando. The hour-long show, which begins at 6 p.m., is broadcast live from the Applebee's on University Boulevard near the UCF campus.
The Golden Knights (22-8, 11-5 C-USA) have earned the second seed at the league championship in Memphis, Tenn. and will face the No. 7 Rice-No. 10 UTEP winner in the quarterfinals on Thursday at 1 p.m. Eastern. In its second season in the league, UCF is one of four teams who earned a first-round bye at the conference tournament.
UCF has won two-straight contests, most recently a 77-64 victory on Saturday over East Carolina at the UCF Arena. The Golden Knights went 15-1 at home this season.
