ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - The "Cingular Wireless Knights Roundtable" with UCF men's basketball head coach Kirk Speraw will air this Monday on the UCF ISP Sports Network and its flagship station, 740 THE TEAM in Orlando. The hour-long radio show, which begins at 6 p.m., is broadcast live from the Applebee's on University Boulevard near the UCF campus.
The Golden Knights, who are 20-8 overall and 9-5 in Conference USA play, have two regular-season contests remaining, both at home. UCF hosts Houston on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the UCF Arena.
The team needs a win in its final two games to clinch a top-three seed in the Conference USA Championship and a first round bye at the tournament.
Speraw's team posted its 20th victory of the season on Feb. 21 with a 59-56 win over Southern Miss. UCF has recorded 20-victory campaigns in four of the last five years.
The Golden Knights are 13-1 at home this year.
The "Cingular Wireless Knights Roundtable" is hosted by UCF's radio voice, Marc Daniels. Fans have the opportunity to ask Speraw questions about the Golden Knights in-person or via the telephone. Cingular customers can dial #740 to join the program. Fans can also call-in at 407-916-8255 and 1-800-729-8255.
