ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - UCF fans will have the opportunity to ask men's basketball head coach Kirk Speraw about his team, which is currently third in the Conference USA standings, on this Monday's edition of the "Cingular Wireless Knights Roundtable." The hour-long program on the UCF ISP Sports Network and its flagship station, 740 THE TEAM in Orlando, airs live from the Applebee's on University Boulevard near the UCF campus, starting at 6 p.m.
The Golden Knights are 19-7 overall and 8-4 in league play. A year ago, Speraw's squad went 14-15 on the year and 7-7 in its first campaign in C-USA. UCF is coming off of an impressive 74-63 win at Rice on Saturday. Both teams entered the contest tied for third in the conference standings.
UCF hosts Southern Miss on Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. at the UCF Arena. The team has four regular-season contests remaining. The Golden Knights are 12-1 this year at home.
