ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - "UCF Sports Today" with men's basketball head coach Kirk Speraw airs this Friday on Sun Sports at 5:30 p.m. The program will take look back at the month of January for the Golden Knights, who are 15-6 overall and 4-3 in Conference USA play.
Speraw's team started January with four-consecutive road games and played away from Orlando six times during the month. The Golden Knights have already eclipsed their win total from a year ago.
This week's show, which is hosted by Marc Daniels, will also take a look Golden Knights' 67-64 victory at UTEP on Jan. 27 and their home contest with 11th-ranked Memphis on Wednesday. A school-record 4,805 fans were on hand for the tilt with the Tigers.
Speraw and Daniels will also look ahead to UCF's upcoming games. The Golden Knights host Tulsa at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday and then travel to face East Carolina on Wednesday, Feb. 7.
