ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - UCF fans can hear from men's basketball head coach Kirk Speraw as his team prepares to face 11th-ranked Memphis on Monday's edition of the "Cingular Wireless Knights Roundtable" radio show. The hour-long program on the UCF ISP Sports Network and its flagship station, 740 THE TEAM in Orlando, airs live from the Applebee's on University Boulevard near the UCF campus, starting at 6 p.m.
The Golden Knights (15-5, 4-2 Conference USA) host Memphis on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. at the UCF Arena. UCF has won four of its last five and has already eclipsed its victory total from last season.
On Saturday, the Golden Knights posted an impressive 67-64 victory at UTEP. Speraw's team handed the Miners their first conference home loss since joining C-USA prior to the 2005-06 season.
Memphis is 17-3 overall and 7-0 in league play. The Tigers have won nine-consecutive games and have not lost since Dec. 20. The UCF-Memphis game will be televised live on Comcast Sports South.
The "Cingular Wireless Knights Roundtable" is hosted by UCF's radio voice, Marc Daniels. Fans have the opportunity to ask Speraw questions about the Golden Knights in-person or via the telephone.
