"UCF Sports Today" Set for Friday

ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - This week's edition of "UCF Sports Today" with men's basketball head coach Kirk Speraw will give fans a look at life on the road with the Golden Knights. The program airs on Sun Sports on Friday at 5:30 p.m.

The episode will show the Golden Knights away from Orlando as they prepared for and then played games at Colorado, South Dakota State, UAB and Marshall. The program will also show highlights of the squad's home win over Rice and road game at Houston.

Speraw and host Marc Daniels will also look ahead to UCF's game at UTEP on Saturday.

The Golden Knights are 14-5 overall and 3-2 in Conference USA play. The team has already equaled its win total from a year ago.

UCF meets UTEP at 4 p.m. Eastern on Saturday in El Paso. The contest will be televised live nationally on CSTV.

The Golden Knights' next home contest is set for Wednesday, Jan. 31 against No. 11 Memphis. Tip-off at the UCF Arena is scheduled for 7 p.m.
