Men's Basketball Radio Show Scheduled for Monday

ORLANDO, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - This week's edition of the "Cingular Wireless Knights Roundtable" radio show with UCF men's basketball head coach Kirk Speraw is slated for Monday evening at 6 p.m. The hour-long program on the UCF ISP Sports Network and its flagship station, 740 THE TEAM in Orlando, airs live from the Applebee's on University Boulevard near the UCF campus.

Speraw's Golden Knights have won three-straight games and are 14-4 overall and 3-1 in Conference USA play. UCF posted a 72-67 home league victory over Rice on Saturday.

The Golden Knights lead C-USA in field-goal (49.3) and 3-point field-goal (41.2) percentage. The team averaged just 63.3 points per game last season, but is scoring 76.2 a contest in 2006-07.

The program is hosted by UCF's radio voice, Marc Daniels. Fans have the opportunity to ask Speraw questions about the Golden Knights in-person or via the telephone. Cingular customers can dial #740 to join the program. Fans can also call-in at 407-916-8255 and 1-800-729-8255.

UCF begins a two-game road swing on Wednesday at Houston. The squad's next home game is set for Wednesday, Jan. 31 against 17th-ranked Memphis.
