? Lavell Payne scored 14 points at UAB and has now recorded double-digits in points in back-to-back contests. Payne made a career-best seven field goals.

? Mike O'Donnell played a career-high 41 minutes in the loss. He became the first Golden Knight to log more than 40 minutes in a contest since Gary Johnson played 44 minutes at Jacksonville on Feb. 10, 2005.

? Josh Peppers' four steals were a season-high.

? Peppers attempted eight treys at UAB and now ranks fifth all-time at UCF with 160 3-point field goal attempts.

? UCF did not play a single overtime contest a year ago, but has now played in extra sessions on two occasions in 2006-07.

? The Golden Knights were playing the third contest of four-straight games on the road. The four-game road stretch is UCF's longest since the 2000-01 campaign.
