Notes
- Today marked the 27th homecoming game in UCF history. The Golden Knights are now 18-9 in those contests.
- The attendance of 31,414 is the third most for a homecoming contest in school history. The total attendance of 197,227 through six home games extends the school single-season record.
- Senior WR Mike Walker increased his streak of consecutive games with a catch to 25 - the streak is the seventh longest in school history. Walker caught nine passes for 85 yards, bringing his career reception total to 163, which moves him into fifth place on the school's all-time receptions list.
- Senior DB Travonti Johnson intercepted his first pass of the season in the first quarter and also forced a fumble in the opening quarter (ECU retained possession). Johnson's interception was the sixth of his career and ties him for ninth on the career charts.
- Junior DE Leger Douzable had 3.5 sacks in the game. The 3.5 sacks is the fourth highest single-game total in school history. His total is the most sacks in a game for a Knight since Elton Patterson had three on Oct. 26, 2002 vs. Akron.
- UCF's five sacks as a team equaled its season high also set against USF on Sept. 16.
- Freshman TE Cory Rabazinski's 28-yard reception in the first quarter was his longest of the season. Rabazinski set season highs with three catches for 40 yards.
- Sophomore RB Kevin Smith moved into ninth place on the all-time rushing touchdowns list with the 16th of his career. The score came on a three-yard run in the first quarter.
- True freshman LB Chance Henderson made his first career start. Henderson finished the game with a season-high nine tackles.
- Sophomore SS Jason Venson had a season-high 14 tackles in the contest. Venson's total was the highest by a Knight this season. Venson's total was one shy of his career high of 15 that he set last year against Rice on Nov. 19.
- Junior PK Michael Torres made a career-long 51-yard field goal in the third quarter. His previous long was 34 yards. It was the longest field goal by a Knight since Matt Prater also connected on a 51-yard field goal against Wisconsin on Aug. 31, 2004.
- Sophomore CB Johnell Neal intercepted the first pass of his career in the third quarter.
