UCF sophomore Giwon Suh shot rounds of 72 and 70 Monday and is tied for 10th at 2-under-par, while the Golden Knights are ninth in the team standings after the opening day of competition at the Gary Koch Intercollegiate at Old Memorial Golf Club.

The host University of Florida squad posted two solid rounds and leads the 12-team field by 11 shots over Kentucky. The Gators are 23-under-par as a team. South Florida LSU and Toledo round out the top five in the team standings. Play concludes with 18 holes Tuesday.

Gator freshman Toby Ragland leads the individual standings at 8-under-par after firing a 5-under-par 67 in the afternoon round. He has a two-shot advantage on Kentucky sophomore Brad Doster. The round of the day was turned in by the College of Charleston's Dennis McCollum, who made nine consecutive birdies en route to a 9-under-par 63.

UCF senior Stefan Wistorf is at even-par through two rounds and is tied for 17th. Sophomore Ben Leong followed up a 1-under-par 71 round in the morning with a 9-over-par 81 in the afternoon and is tied for 49th. Sophomore Chris Anderson is tied for 52nd and freshman Greg Forest is tied for 55th.
