TOLEDO, Ohio - The UCF men's golf team concluded play at the Inverness Intercollegiate Invitational on Tuesday, finishing 13th at the season-opening event. The Golden Knights carded a three-round score of 912 (+60).

Sophomore Giwon Suh was the top finisher for UCF, ending the event tied for 14th with a nine-over par 222. During the final round of play, sophomore Ben Leong carded a one-over par 71. Leong posted a two-day score of 224 (+11) and finished tied for 19th.

Florida claimed the event, posting a combined score of 880 (+28). The Gators Matt Every (213, Even) was the individual winner, followed by Southern California's Joshua Wooding (215).

UCF senior Stefan Wistorf ended the 54-hole tournament with a score of 232 to tie for 53rd. Playing in his first collegiate event, freshman Kyle Davis finished tied for 57th (234).

Rounding out the field for UCF was freshman Greg Forest. Forest finished 70th with a two-day score of 243.

The Golden Knights return to action on Sept. 26, competing at the Shoal Creek Intercollegiate in Birmingham, Ala.
