TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Senior Andreas Hoegberg shot a 1-under-par 71 Sunday to lead UCF as the Golden Knights shot a 7-over-par 295 and are tied with North Carolina for fourth after one round of the Seminole Intercollegiate at Golden Eagle Country Club. UCF trails Coastal Carolina by four shots and will enter Monday's second round one shot behind NC State and Texas A&M.

Hoegberg is tied for fourth with five other players, two shots behind co-leaders Rhys Davies of East Tennessee State and Kevin O'Connell of Virginia. Moises Cobo of Coastal Carolina is alone in third at 2-under-par.

Freshmen Preston Brown and Giwon Suh shot identical 2-over-par 74s and are tied for 20th, while fellow freshmen Ben Leong shot 76 and Chris Anderson shot 77. They are tied for 36th and 47th, respectively.

Vanderbilt and Virginia are just one shot behind UCF, while host Florida State trails the Golden Knights by two strokes. Only six shots separate the top eight teams in the tightly bunched field of 12 schools.
