TALLAHASSEE - Junior Tiffany Roebuck headlined the list of UCF women's track and field team performances in the final day of competition at the FSU Relays at Mike Long Track on Saturday.
Roebuck, who began the meet by breaking the school record in the shot put, took the gold section hammer throw title for the second consecutive year. She had a mark of 170-feet, 4 inches, while freshman Kendra Howell was fifth at 134-9.
In other field events, sophomore Katie Fowke finished third as she tied her own school record with a mark of 12-0. Junior Diana Chin finished third with a leap of 18-10.75 in the long jump.
Chin also placed second in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.09. Her younger sister Vicky Chin had a personal best of 14.36 in the 100m hurdles before taking second in the 400m hurdles at 62.26.
After a speedy start by junior Astrid Claessens, who had a personal best time of 4:40 in the lead-off leg, the Golden Knights finished fourth in the 4x1500m relay.
UCF next visits Gainesville for the Florida Relays from March 24-26.
