MIAMI - The UCF women's golf team finished play at the Miccosukee Championships Tuesday with a 10th-place showing. The Golden Knights shot their best round of the championship with a team score of 313.
The Golden Knights were led by junior Ashley Grier. The Hagerstown, Md., native finished the championship tied for fifth with a 54-hole total of 226. Grier, who entered the day tied for second, shot a two-over 75 Tuesday.
Sophomore Holly Boot tied for 41st after carding a six-over 79 during the final round.
UCF returns to the course Friday, March 4 at the SunTrust Lady Gator Invitational in Gainesville.
