Tyler Adams enters his second year as a volunteer assistant coach for the UCF volleyball team in 2009 after serving in the same position for the 2007 season.
Prior to assuming his role on the Knights[apos] staff, Adams coached and played for the FC Schüttorf, Schüttorf Germany professional volleyball team, helping guide his Second Division squad to a league championship in 2008.
Adams also spent five years playing for the UCF men[apos]s club volleyball team. He was honored by the NIRSA as a second team All-American in 2008. From 2006-08 Adams served as a player coach for the club team, before taking over the team as a head coach in 2009.
Adams graduated from UCF with a degree in psychology in May 2008.
