Tori Forney joined the UCF Athletics Association in August 2023 as assistant director for administration and was promoted to assistant athletics director of event management in January 2024.
Forney serves as the primary event manager for football and men’s basketball while also overseeing all home athletic events, game operations managers, facility scheduling, and facility maintenance.
Forney arrived at UCF after two years at the University of Miami, where she most recently served as director of event management and championships. During her time with the Hurricanes she was the ACC game management liaison, tournament director for NCAA regional hosted events including baseball and tennis, coordinated and managed event staff, guest services/security, officials, parking, visiting team hospitality, internal department communication, credentials, and event timelines for all home athletic events.
From 2018-21 she worked in the sport and facility services athletic department at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Prior to her time at Oxford, Forney worked in the sports management and operations division at IMG Academy.
Forney, a women's soccer student-athlete during her undergraduate career, graduated from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Fla., in 2016 with a degree in sports management. While working in the athletic department as a game management graduate assistant she earned her MBA from Southeastern in the spring of 2018.
