Timmy Conner ’17 returned to his alma mater in May 2023 to serve as director of brand experience. He is primarily responsible for all football-related marketing and promotions.
In May 2024, Conner's efforts on the "Fear the Fronds" initiative during the inaugural Big 12 men's basketball season was recognized by the National Association of College Marketing Administrators as a finalist for the "Best Of" People's Choice Award-student engagement category.
Conner previously worked for the athletic department as a student intern and then graduate assistant. During 2017-18, he oversaw marketing efforts for the Knights' volleyball and softball programs and assisted with women's basketball as well.
Conner enjoyed a successful run at UNLV from 2018-23, where he first started as a marketing and promotions coordinator and eventually rose to associate director of game presentation for the Rebels. He gained experience with the men’s basketball, football, women’s basketball and baseball teams during his tenure at UNLV. He also served game-day roles with the Las Vegas Raiders of the NFL and Las Vegas Lights FC of the USL.
During his career, he has served as an assistant producer for the 2023 NFL Pro Bowl and field manager for the 2023 PAC 12 Football Championship and game producer for both the Mountain West Basketball Championships and the East vs. West Shrine Bowl Game in 2022 and 2023.
Conner received his bachelor of science degree in marketing from UCF in May of 2017.
