Tara Openshaw joined the UCF Sports Properties team in August 2024 as the manager of partnership services.
Openshaw arrived in Orlando after working for two years with the LEARFIELD Seminole Sports Properties team as the coordinator of partnership services. During her time with SSP, she was awarded LEARFIELD's Property of the Year for the 2022-23 fiscal year after hitting 130% of their local sales budget.
Openshaw earned dual bachelor's degrees in marketing and sport management as well as a master's degree in sport management from Florida State University. While studying at FSU, she worked for Seminole Sports Marketing and the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp Baseball Club, supporting partnerships, promotions and marketing efforts.
Openshaw grew up in Jacksonville as a diehard Jacksonville Jaguars fan and avid cross country/track athlete.
