Sean Beckton Jr. joined the UCF Athletics staff as an assistant director of sports performance for football in March 2022.
The 2014 graduate of UCF returned to his alma mater after four years working as a strength and conditioning coach for the Nebraska football program.
Beckton also has experience working as a volunteer strength coach at The Master's Academy in Oviedo, where he instructed secondary exercises and monitored proper core exercises. At The Master's Academy, Beckton also served as a receivers assistant football coach.
He was also an assistant track and field coach for Lake Mary Preparatory School during the 2017 season. Beckton boasts additional experience as a performance specialist for Fit Speed Athletic Performance and as an intern for Center of Recovery & Exercise.
Beckton graduated from UCF with a degree in sports and exercise science and played four seasons for the Knights from 2011-14 as a defensive back and on special teams. He is the son of UCF Hall of Fame wide receiver Sean Beckton.
