Samantha Visco joined the UCF sports medicine staff in July of 2013. Her responsibilities include primary medical coverage of the women's soccer team and coverage of the men's and women's tennis teams.
Prior to her arrival at UCF, she served as an assistant athletic trainer at the United States Military Academy (Army) located in West Point, N.Y. for six years covering a variety of sports.
Visco began with her athletic training education at The Ohio State University, where she obtained her bachelor's degree in athletic training. She also has a second bachelor's degree in human ecology - nutrition.
She then went on to receive her graduate education at Georgia State University, where she completed her graduate assistantship with the cross country and baseball programs. She obtained her Master of Science degree in nutrition and a second master's degree in sports medicine.
