Phillip Croak joined the UCF sports medicine staff as an assistant athletic trainer in the summer of 2019. He works primarily with the Knights football program.
Prior to his arrival at UCF, Croak was awarded an internship with the Los Angeles Chargers during the 2018 NFL season, was a student athletic trainer for Chapman University’s historic 2019 NCAA Division III Baseball National Championship, and has previous experience working in various physical therapy settings.
A 2013 graduate of Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology, Croak recently earned his Master of Science degree in athletic training at Chapman University in Southern California in 2019.
Croak is certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification and is a licensed athletic trainer by the state of Florida. He is an American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED instructor, and has certifications in BLS for Healthcare Provider and Basic Water Rescue. Croak is IV Therapy Certified, SASTM Certified, and is a Hawkgrips Level 1 Certified Practitioner.
Croak is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, Southeast Athletic Trainers’ Association, and the Athletic Trainers’ Association of Florida.
