Morgan Marr joined the UCF softball staff as a volunteer assistant for the 2002-03 season and will continue in the 2003-04 season. Her major responsibility lies in coaching the pitchers.
A softball standout at the University of Kentucky, Marr was second on the school[apos]s all-time list for career earned-run-average and batting average prior to 2002, when illness kept her from competition for eight weeks and limited her time in action. In 2001, she recorded the fifth lowest ERA (2.79) and the second most wins (17) in school history.
Marr, a native of Vienna, Va., earned her bachelor[apos]s degree in marketing from Kentucky in three years. She is now in her second year of pursuing a master[apos]s degree in Sport Business Management and Business Administration at UCF in the DeVos Sport Business Management Program.
