One of the area's most recognized and respected media personalities, Marc Daniels has been seen and heard in Orlando for well over 30 years. The 2024-25 sports season is Daniels' 30th year calling UCF games as the longtime play-by-play voice for football, basketball, baseball and other sports as well as hosting additional program on multiple platforms and serving as a UCF ambassador and emcee at numerous events throughout the year.
In addition to his roles as Director of Broadcasting and play-by-play voice, Daniels is the host of "The Beat of Sports" radio show on UCF's flagship radio station 96.9FM/740AM The Game/WYGM in Orlando. The show can be heard weekdays from 8:30 a.m. until 12 p.m.
Daniels has broadcast some of UCF's biggest moments in the program's history and has called every UCF football game since 1995, a streak well over 300 consecutive games. His 29 years at UCF is longest of any school's radio voice in the state of Florida.
He was enshrined in the UCF Athletics Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2023.
Daniels was born in New York and grew up in south Florida. He has lived in Orlando since 1989 and is married with two daughters.
