Katie Duggan is entering her third year as the Knights' student director of volleyball operations in 2011. She started her career with the UCF volleyball team in 2008 as a libero.
2008 - FRESHMAN SEASON
• Named to the C-USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll
• Appeared in five sets for the Knights
• Averaged 0.40 digs per set
• Made her collegiate debut vs. Oregon at the Jayhawk Invitational (Sept. 4)
• Posted a career-high two digs vs. Bethune-Cookman (Sept. 10)
• Made an appearance vs. Florida International at the FIU Invitational (Sept. 12)
• Saw time on the floor vs. North Texas at the Southern Miss Invitational (Sept. 20)
• Made her C-USA debut at SMU (Sept. 26)
ST. THOMAS AQUINAS HIGH SCHOOL
• Played for head coach Lisa Zielinski
• Named the Sun-Sentinel Broward Top Performer of the Week after totaling 31 service points, 10 aces and five digs in two matches (2007)
• Earned 5A All-County Honorable Mention accolades following her senior year (2007)
• In 25 matches, posted 177 service points, 108 digs and 28 service aces in her final season (2007)
• Helped lead her team to two-consecutive district championships (2006, 2007) and a Regional championship (2007)
• Was a member of the National Spanish Honor Society
• Recieved First Honors and the Presidential Award
• Played at the club level for Boomers volleyball club
