Jeff Rotondo joined the Knights[apos] staff as a volunteer assistant coach in the summer of 2013. Rotondo brings over 15 years of coaching experience to his new position, most notably a three-year stint with USA Volleyball[apos]s High Performance Program from 2010-13.
[quote]We have been very fortunate to have such a strong track record of developing our volunteer assistants,[quote] head coach Todd Dagenais said. [quote]Many of them have moved on to become head and assistant coaches all over the country. Jeff is highly motivated to develop his coaching skills and gain experience in the collegiate world. His drive and passion is going to carry him very far. He is a fantastic family man, and he has sacrificed a lot by moving away from them to gain this experience. I have very high expectations of Jeff, and I know he is going to do a superior job because his heart is in the right place. I[apos]m going to give him a ton of responsibility right away, and I[apos]m looking forward to seeing those results.[quote]
Prior to joining the UCF staff, Rotondo worked at Holy Family University (Division II), as an assistant coach from 2011-13. The Perkasie, Pennsylvania native also spent eight years with the Infinity Volleyball Academy Junior Olympic Club as Head Coach and Co-Director of the Junior Girls[apos] Volleyball Club. Rotondo, who earned his bachelor[apos]s degree from Walden University in 2011, has an additional eight years of experience coaching men and women[apos]s volleyball at the high school level.
