UCF Volleyball head coach Todd Dagenais has completed his coaching staff with the addition of volunteer coach, Isaac Raphael.
“With the addition of Isaac, our volleyball program has reached an unprecedented level of Division I head coaching experience on its staff,” Dagenais said. “His specialty with working with our middle blockers and blocking schemes is going to help us as we continue with our goal to be the best blocking and defensive team in the American Athletic Conference.”
Raphael, a UCF alumnus, spent three seasons as Bethune-Cookman’s head coach and brings additional Division I coaching experience from FIU. He has served as a coach of the Florida Region Program and is a well-known club coach in the area.
“As a UCF alum, it is an honor to now be a part of the Knights volleyball program,” Raphael said. “I would like to thank Coach Dagenais for giving me this opportunity to hone my coaching skills, and my wife and children for being patient with me as I pursue my dreams.”
A native of St. Croix, USVI (U.S. Virgin Islands), Raphael graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mathematical education in 2001. He brings both U.S. and international volleyball experience to a staff that is already packed with USA, regional and Division I coaching experience.
