Ian Brown joined Rich Wallace’s staff in the summer of 2025 as the program’s director of analytics.
As UCF baseball director of analytics, Brown focuses on leveraging data, advanced metrics, and technology to enhance player development, scouting, and in-game strategy. He is passionate about innovation in baseball analytics and aims to combine data-driven insights with on-field experience to drive success and continuous improvement.
A former baseball student-athlete, Brown spent the 2025 season with the Knights after previously spending four years at Division III Trinity College in Connecticut.
The former right-handed pitcher tossed 96.0 innings in his collegiate career. He went 5-4 with three saves over 15 starts and 29 total appearances on the mound.
A native of Tampa, Fla., and a high school graduate of Berkeley Prep, Brown went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Trinity College in Economics in 2024 and a master’s degree from UCF in Educational Leadership and Administration in 2025.
