Eric Trueblood was appointed as an assistant athletic trainer for the UCF Athletics Association in 2022, specializing in women's soccer. He obtained a bachelor's degree in athletic training from Kansas State University in 2019 and completed his master's at Missouri State University in 2021. Subsequently, he interned at Missouri State until 2022, providing medical coverage for the Men's Soccer and Men's Golf teams.
Trueblood holds multiple certifications, including integrative dry needling and sound assisted soft tissue mobilization (SASTM). He has also completed various Rocktape Brand Courses, including tissue flossing (RockFloss), kinesiology taping I-II, IASTM (RockBlades), and cupping therapy (RockPods). He has expanded his knowledge in soccer-specific rehabilitation and prevention strategies by attending several sports medicine conventions, notably the 2022 MLS Medical Symposium.
