Elisabeth Bird joined the UCF Sports Medicine department in May 2023. Before transitioning to football coverage ahead of the 2024 season, she managed clinical care for UCF's men's soccer team.
Bird had a memorable first season with the men's soccer team, which achieved the first No. 1 ranking of any varsity sport program in UCF Athletics history and earned a national seed in the 2023 NCAA Tournament.
Bird arrived at UCF after spending two years at Stephen F. Austin where she worked with the football, baseball, indoor volleyball and beach volleyball teams. She also gained experience at the University of Alabama during her undergraduate education, working with the football, men’s basketball, softball and women’s soccer teams.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from the University of Alabama and a master’s degree in human sciences from Stephen F. Austin State University.
