Dustin Stover joined the UCF Athletics staff as an assistant equipment manager in February 2018.
Stover came to UCF from Stetson University (2016-2018), where he managed 12 of the Hatters’ athletic teams. Prior to Stetson, Stover spent three years (2013-2016) as an assistant equipment manager for the Philadelphia Eagles. At the Eagles, he worked in all areas of the equipment department, including managing player contracts and equipment inventory, as well as organizing on-field quarterback drills for then-Head Coach Chip Kelly.
Stover has also spent time as the head equipment manager for football at UNC Charlotte (2012) and as an assistant equipment manager for the Virginia Destroyers (2011) of the UFL.
Stover was first introduced to the athletic equipment field as a student at Marshall University. He served as a student equipment manager, working with football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer and volleyball. During the summers, he interned for the Arizona Cardinals Training Camp (2010) and the Cleveland Browns Training Camp (2007-2009).
Stover is a native of Ashton, WV and earned his B.A. in Sports Management and Marketing from Marshall University in 2011. He and his wife, Cherisse, live in Orlando.
