DeVonda Holmes joined UCFAA in June 2022 and works closely with the football team as an assistant academic advisor.
Holmes got her start in athletics at North Carolina Central University as a social media intern and was one of five members selected to serve on the student-leadership team. She went on to work at the University of Georgia for two years, first in the event and facilities department and eventually the academic services department.
Holmes earned her bachelor’s degree in recreation sport administration from North Carolina Central University, where she also cheered for three years, and a master’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Georgia.
