Devin Ducote is in his initial year at UCF in 2021 as director of football recruiting and player personnel. He spent the 2020 season as defensive coordinator at West Feliciana (Louisiana) High School. He began his coaching career at his alma mater, Stephen F. Austin, serving as defensive backs coach (2012-13).
From 2014-15, he was a member of the LSU staff as a graduate assistant. Next he served as a defensive analyst at Auburn under Kevin Steele. He joined Les Miles at Kansas as senior special teams consultant for 2019.
Ducote was a three-time All-Southland Conference selection at linebacker during his playing career at Stephen F. Austin (2007-10). He helped the Lumberjacks to Southland Conference titles in 2009 and 2010. His career total of 414 tackles ranked second in school history.
A product of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Ducote received his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Stephen F. Austin in 2011 and a master’s degree in kinesiology in 2015.
