Dane Bachman joined the UCF sports medicine team in February 2024. He serves as the primary athletic trainer for the volleyball team and spirit team, which includes cheer, Knight Moves and Knightro.
Prior to arriving at UCF, Bachman spent eight years at the University of Oklahoma, where he got his start as a graduate assistant athletic trainer in 2016. By the time he left as an athletic trainer in 2024, he had worked with the football, spirit, volleyball and rowing teams and also had experience managing a group of 26 student staff members.
Bachman earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Ohio State University in 2016 and a master’s degree in adult and higher education with an emphasis in intercollegiate athletics administration in 2018.
He is NATA certified. He also is certified in dry needling.
In his free time, Dane enjoys traveling, cooking, and any athletic activity.
