Conor Kvatek was hired as the UCFAA photographer in 2021 after working several years for the Knights in a part-time capacity.
The award-winning photographer has been recognized by multiple outlets. College Sports Communicators tabbed his photograph of wide receiver Xavier Townsend celebrating a touchdown against Kent State in the 2023 home opener as the Photo of the Year (Best in the Nation-University Division) in 2024. Kvatek was recognized by Time magazine after his photo of the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launch from the Bounce House was selected as one of the top 100 photos of 2020.
