Chris Brown joined UCF’s Facilities and Operations unit in May of 2017. His current role with the Knights is as an assistant director, where he oversees the management of small facilities projects that tie together the ongoing capital projects. He also coordinates the distribution and inventory of department wide keys.
Brown spent that past four years at the University of San Francisco as a graduate assistant in the department’s marketing office, tickets and facilities & events coordinator.
With the Dons, Brown oversaw game operations duties of men’s and women’s soccer along with baseball, while overseeing in the management of basketball events. He also coordinated the scheduling of department vehicles, processed facility maintenance requests and other facility-related items.
In addition to his duties at San Francisco, Brown served as a public relations assistant for the Golden State Warriors during the team’s run to the 2015 NBA Championship.
A native of Los Angeles, Calif., Brown earned his bachelor’s degree in public relations from Sacramento State in 2014. He also earned his master's degree from the University of San Francisco’s Sport Management program in the spring of 2016.
He currently resides in Baldwin Park and enjoys cooking and exploring new restaurants
