Chelsey Burns joined UCF Sports Properties as assistant general manager in March 2023. She brings more than a decade's worth of experience in partnership development and premium hospitality sales and service experience after spending four seasons with the Washington Nationals and eight years with Orlando City Soccer Club. Prior to beginning her career in sports, she held business development and campaign fundraising roles.
Burns graduated from Florida State University with an undergraduate degree in psychology. After college Burns spent six years living in Washington D.C. and earned her master’s degree in sports industry management from Georgetown University.
As an Orlando native, she has loved seeing how the city has evolved over the years and continues to expand her deep roots in the community. Growing up playing softball and cheerleading in Oviedo, FL, UCF has always been an influence in her life.
She comes from a very large extended family whom she enjoys spending time with regularly. She has two kids, Bryce and Sydney, with her husband, Andy.
