Brooke Smoley joined UCF Athletics in April 2016 as associate athletics director for strategy, analytics and ticket sales and was promoted to senior associate athletics director in January 2022. She leads UCF’s ticket sales and service initiatives, while also overseeing ticket operations.
In June 2024, Smoley and the tickets team were honored with the inaugural National Association of Athletic Ticket Sales and Operations Ticket Team of the Year award.
While at UCF Smoley has set numerous season ticket sales and revenue records including most football season tickets, most men’s basketball season tickets, and most baseball season tickets sold in school history. This includes the first football season ticket sellout in 2019. In total Smoley’s team has generated an excess of $55 million in ticket sales and annual fund contributions since 2016.
Prior to UCF Smoley served as an Associate Athletic Director and Chief Revenue Officer at the University of Houston. Smoley’s team set all-time highs in both football season ticket sales and revenue generated. Baseball season tickets saw an increase of 185 percent during Smoley's first year with the Cougars, as well.
Smoley’s previous seven years were in a variety of roles with the NFL's Miami Dolphins. She began as a ticket sales associate with the team in 2007 and moved through the ranks as a season ticket sales account executive, season ticket sales senior manager, sales operations senior manager and concluded as the ticket sales director of business development.
While with the Miami Dolphins Smoley developed a season ticket strategic plan that generated an increase of more than $2.2 million from the previous season. The Dolphins led all NFL teams in new premium seat sales in 2013. Smoley also recruited, hired, trained and led the NFL's largest ticket sales team with more than 70 sales associates.
A native of Miami Beach, Fla., she received her bachelor's degree in political science with a minor in communications and public relations from Florida State.
