Brian DeAngelis was named Commercial Revenue Officer in September 2026. He is an accomplished sports executive with a proven record of generating revenue, building partnerships and creating innovative fan engagement opportunities.
DeAngelis oversees UCF Athletics’ corporate partnerships, ticket sales and ticket operations units while leading the department’s broader commercial revenue strategy. He also works closely with university and community partners to identify new revenue-generating opportunities and support UCF’s continued growth as a member of the Big 12 Conference.
DeAngelis came to UCF following five years as president and general manager of the Winston-Salem Dash, the High-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. He led all business and baseball operations for the organization, including strategic planning, revenue generation and community engagement.
Under DeAngelis’ leadership, the Dash produced five consecutive years of growth in sponsorship and ticket revenue, set attendance records twice and secured $8 million in municipal funding for ballpark improvements. He personally generated multi-million dollar sponsorship revenue in 2025 and helped elevate the organization from 68th to fifth in Minor League Baseball engagement. The Dash also received a Golden Bobblehead Award in 2025, Minor League Baseball’s top promotional honor.
DeAngelis also served on Major League Baseball’s Business Affairs Subcommittee, helping execute national partnerships across Minor League Baseball’s 120 teams. Before joining the Dash, he held sales leadership positions with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, State College Spikes, Penn State Baseball and Aberdeen IronBirds.
