Brad Irwin joined the UCF Athletics Association in 2022 as an associate director of equipment operations. Irwin is responsible for the purchase, inventory, distribution, and maintenance of all athletic related equipment for four teams including baseball, men’s soccer, track & field and rowing. He is also a certified member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA).
An Orlando native, Brad returned to Florida after serving as an assistant director of athletic equipment at the University of Oklahoma for four years. During that time, he maintained similar job responsibilities working in conjunction with the baseball, men’s gymnastics and women’s soccer programs.
Prior to his employment at Oklahoma, Irwin spent time working as a gift processing specialist at Seminole Boosters Inc. which is a direct support organization of the Florida State University Athletic Association. His primary roles included interacting with constituents, processing monetary donations and maintaining the donor database.
A 2016 graduate of Florida State University, he earned two bachelor’s degrees in business management and business finance. During his time as a student, he worked as a student manager with the baseball team, aiding the staff in the daily operations. In his third year with the program, the Seminoles won the 2015 ACC Championship.
Irwin is married to the former Kennedy Roderick of Edwardsville, IL. The couple was married on Nov. 5, 2021, and currently resides in Orlando.
