Becky Geyer joined the UCF women[apos]s basketball staff in June 2005 as an assistant coach.

Geyer came to Orlando after 13 successful seasons as head coach at San Antonio[apos]s Trinity University, where she guided the Tigers to a 229-107 record. The team made four appearances in the NCAA Division III Tournament, winning the national title in 2003. Last season, the Tigers went 25-5 and advanced to the NCAA Division III Sweet 16.
Geyer[apos]s achievements on the court earned her recognition as Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Coach of the Year and Molten/Women[apos]s Division III National Coach of the Year in both 1995 and 2003. She registered a SCAC record of 129-55. The San Antonio Express News also gave her Sportswoman of the Year honors in 2003.
Off the court, Geyer had two academic All-Americans, three academic all-district honorees and two NCAA Post-Graduate Scholars (Megan Selmon in 2003 and Tara Rohde in 2005).
During her tenure at Trinity, Geyer coached 41 All-SCAC honorees, two SCAC Players of the Year, two SCAC Defensive Players of the Year as well as three Division III Honorable Mention All-Americans and one First Team All-American. She also produced the 2005 Jostens Division III National Player of the Year (Rohde) and the NCAA National Tournament MVP Allison Wooley.
Prior to her appointment at Trinity in 1992, Geyer served as assistant men[apos]s basketball coach, physical education instructor and head volleyball coach at Illinois[apos] Augustana College.
Geyer holds a bachelor[apos]s degree in education from Northern State and a master[apos]s degree in education from Illinois State. Geyer has a four-year-old son Clifford.
