Ava Buric joined the UCF Athletics Association as a graphic designer and illustrator in June 2022.
Buric is a decorated artist who specializes in character art, product design, branding, themed entertainment and character design. In June 2024, she was honored with the College Sports Communicators' Designer of the Year (Portfolio) Award. In 2018, she won a silver ADDY award for the creation of an illustrated stationary campaign and was also recognized in the Printing Association of Florida’s Florida Print Awards in the Best of Category.
Buric has worked with numerous sports organizations in a freelance capacity, including the Orlando Magic, Chicago Bulls, Sacramento Kings, Indianapolis Colts, Houston Texans, Minnesota Timberwolves, Charlotte Hornets and other minor league affiliates.
Buric earned her bachelor’s degree with cum laude honors in advertising and public relations from UCF. While she was a student, she served as a graphic designer for the Office of Student Involvement for three years where she worked on projects including Spirit Splash and Movie Knights. She also interned for UCFAA’s #content team.
